The reset has been done so that there's plenty of height in the bridge, the fretboard extension has had a tapered wedge installed so that there's no fall-off or hump where it joins the body, and it's all been done using traditional hide glue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe guitar has been refretted with Van Gent medium fretwire. The fretboard is pearwood with a stained and painted finish, the fret markers are stencilled.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll original hardware and machineheads which are working fine. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNew Blackwood Tek bridge base, fitted with the original adjustable height bridge saddle. Strung with d'Addario phosphor bronze 10's.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's generally in good condition, and has been treated pretty well, but do bear in mind it's over 50 years old!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese charming little guitars are increasingly difficult to get hold of, and I pride myself in knowing how to restore them and get them nicely playable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe birchwood and ladder braced construction make for a tight boxy sound which is great for blues, and the handy size makes it a very comfortable guitar to play.
