Product Description

Tenor banjo  with old stock mahogany neck on Punch cigar box. 20 7/8 inch scale length.

30mm wide neck at the nut, 22.5mm string spacing at the nut, 35mm string spacing at the bridge. 

Real bone nut, nice quality sealed back machineheads.

Bolt on neck. The body is braced with lightweight drilled-out  "stringers" connecting the heel and tail blocks to ensure maximum stability.

Telecaster style bridge and pickup with individual adjustable saddles and through body stringing for sustain and clarity of tone. Volume and tone controls with "orange drop" tone capacitor, "tele"  style chrome knobs.

Strung with Zilpha nickel wound strings, tuned as a standard tenor banjo  C - D - G - A, so you can use ordinary tenor banjo or mandolin chord shapes. You can of course tune it how you wish, for example in a ukulele tuning or open chord tuning - please ask if you  need any advice about alternative tunings and string sets.

The tele style single coil pickup gives a great punch and clarity. Set up with a nice low action for easy playing.

Please note we are a small family business not Amazon, and that whilst we aim to pick, quality check and pack all orders within two working days, due to limited man power and time, orders may be delayed a little at busy times and weekends. Please note that tax and duty may be charged in your country and requires payment before the goods are released to you. It is your responsibility to deal with this.
