In a small group we'll cover the following points to build a great foundation for taking your playing further:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTuning the guitar\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eHolding the guitar and hand position\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBasic 12 bar blues progression\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBass runs\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eScales\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBasic slide technique\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSlide vibrato and glissando\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRight hand picking and strumming\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOne chord Hill Country basics\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe are offering two sessions -morning for beginners, afternoon for intermediate players.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIf you aren't sure which session to book, the morning session is for absolute beginners and for those of you who may be struggling to get to grips with the basics of 3 string guitar. \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe afternoon is aimed at people who may already have  some experience of playing the 6 string guitar and are looking to transfer their skills to 3 strings, and for those players who have got the basics of 3 strings and want to develop their technique further.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe'll be playing on a G tuning, so if you are bringing your own guitar, you'll need to be in G D G tuning (recommended string gauges 042-046, 028-032,  018-024 approximately). If you don't have a guitar, we'll have plenty of instruments for you to borrow.
