The simplest most basic slide guitar ever. A chunk of timber, a string and a pickup.  .047 gauge D'Addario string on 24 3/4 inch scale, fret positions marked with drilled position dots. Aluminium bridges, sealed machinehead, Strat type pickup wired direct to the jack - just dial-in your favourite amp settings and blaze away.

4 string box guitar (currently tuned open D, but can be tuned open G, tenor guitar, octave mandolin..whatever you fancy really!!), hemlock neck with oak fretboard, fully fretted, black side dots and position markers, 25 1/2 inch (Fender) scale, bone nut.  Super heavy duty galvanised steel  corner plates, "Precision" 4 pole pickup with chickenhead Bakelite tone & volume knobs.

Embossed aluminium replica license plate front, alloy bridge with "Tele" pattern saddles, sealed chrome tuners and dinky enameled "Route 66" headstock badge.  I'm really pleased with the sound and looks of this guitar, so I am making more...maybe one of these days I'll get to keep one!
